With over 35 years in financial services, Dave has spent the last 15 focused on, and specialising in the overlap between legal services and financial planning. Latterly, he was the Managing Director of SIFA Professional, assisting quality financial advisory firms forge mutually beneficial and compliant partnerships with solicitors. He took a step back from his full-time role for personal reasons in 2021.

Dave still advises his former company but proudly acts as a consultant for carefully selected well qualified and respected financial planning firms, seeking to develop client beneficial relationships with law firms. During his time at SIFA Professional, he built close relationships with the SRA and the Law Society and has maintained these to ensure his consultancy if valid and up to date with both regulation and trends in the legal marketplace.

He was delighted to be asked to work with Robin Melley, who he knew by his excellent reputation, and his award-winning Shropshire based advisory firm. Dave’s role is to advise and inform Matrix Capital’s relationships with the legal profession and to assist them build meaningful, and importantly SRA compliant, two-way referral partnerships.
